Communication overall and modern communication and internet are yet to be developed in Nauru and are not of very high quality, but they are improving now.

Nauru has a well established telephone service which works through radiotelephone communication system through the Australian Facilities.

Nauru’s Media is improving in a very quick and fast manner as well and there are few TV channels, few fortnightly magazines and a radio channel.

Nauru has one internet service provider called as CenPacNet ISP, it provides internet facility in the Nauru Island. Nauru Island has its own Country Code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) of .nr, which has further second level domains available as well for other institutions and entities. Internet usage is increasing in Nauru Island with time.
